The Good Run Year 2: Running for Good Change, One Step at a Time
November 16, 2025 - The spirit of compassion and community came alive at Bridgetowne, Pasig City, as over 500 runners laced up their shoes for The Good Run Year 2, a charity fun run organized by Good Neighbors Philippines. This year’s event carried a powerful mission — to collect 1,000 first aid kits for the communities that Good Neighbors Philippines serves.

For many Filipinos living in vulnerable conditions, basic healthcare is far from basic. When faced with the choice between buying food for the table or a bandage for a wound, survival often comes first. Through The Good Run, Good Neighbors Philippines highlighted this reality and rallied the community to take action — proving that small steps can lead to life-changing impact.
Adding excitement and inspiration to the event was Good Neighbors Philippines Ambassador Robi Domingo, who joined the runners on the route and encouraged everyone to keep running for a purpose. His presence energized the crowd and reinforced the message that kindness and compassion should always be part of our daily lives.

“Today is not just about finishing a race, it’s about taking steps, literally and symbolically, towards a better future for our communities. You remind us of the progress that happens when ordinary people choose goodness wholeheartedly. We move to move hearts.” Robi shared.
The event brought together families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts who all ran for one purpose — to make healthcare more accessible to children and families in need.
Mr. Jae Choon Lee, Country Director of Good Neighbors Philippines, opened the program with a meaningful message: “This year, our campaign carries a simple yet powerful mission—to uplift the health and well-being of marginalized children in our most vulnerable communities. Every day, let us choose to share the value of being a good neighbor.”
Beyond the numbers and finish lines, The Good Run Year 2 stood as a testament to Good Neighbors Philippines’ unwavering commitment to creating harmonious communities where Filipino children can grow to be good neighbors — compassionate, caring, and empowered individuals who make a difference.
Every runner who joined the event became a hero in their own right — a hero for every child, parent, and family who will soon receive a first aid kit, a small box of care that could mean the world in times of need.
The Good Run Year 2 was more than just a race — it was a movement powered by empathy, unity, and the belief that when communities come together, good truly runs through us all.
