The Good Run Year 2 Kicks Off: Running for Health, Hope, and Humanity
Manila, Philippines — September 18, 2025 — Good Neighbors Philippines officially launched The Good Run Year 2, a fundraising event that transforms every stride into life-saving support for vulnerable communities. Building on the success of its first year, this year’s run aims to distribute at least 1,000 First Aid Kits to families in underserved areas and fund the medical treatment of a child in need.
With healthcare access remaining a challenge in many communities, The Good Run goes beyond being just a sporting event—it is a movement. Each registration and every kilometer covered contributes directly to empowering families to respond to emergencies and to ensuring that children with medical challenges receive the care they deserve.
“At the heart of what we do are children in need of medical care, and families who deserve the safety of first aid kits. Being a good neighbor means standing together—because each of us has the power to be that helping hand for a child in need.”, said Mr. Jae Choon Lee, Country Director. “Through The Good Run, we are taking steps to close the healthcare gap in our communities.”
The event also sets a goal of reaching more compassionate hearts, rallying Filipinos to run for the greater good.
