Good Neighbors believes that every youth has every potential to be a great leader and make good change happen for their communities and unlocking their capabilities and potentials is one of the objectives of Good Neighbors.
Youth leaders in the project areas in Hagonoy, Bulacan joined the Learning Enhancement Virtual Conference last March 16 and 23 and March 18 and 25, 2021.
This has provided learning opportunities for them to be effective and efficient leaders amidst the pandemic and despite the millennium challenges.
Child Rights Club and Supreme Pupil Government Officers and Representatives from our partner schools attended the training. 32 CRC participated and 27 students together with their advisers and school principals.
Among the topics discussed were Essential Behaviors and Basic Skills of a Young Leader Towards Effective Millennial Leadership and How to Make an Impact & Be an Agent of Difference as Young Leaders in the New Normal.
Through this, the objective to empower children and youth and enhance new skills, build their self-esteem and develop an understanding of collaboration and create a culture of safety was achieved.
The youth has every chance to change the world if we let them lead.
