Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) Project Staff will be responsible in coordination and implementation of all the undertakings of the project conduct, including but not limited to network and link up with possible agencies, organizations, and stakeholders, among others.
Essential Responsibilies
- Coordinate and Implement the undertakings of the project implementation with the GNIP office/s, especially with the WaSH Project Manager and the Health and WaSH Staff, Stakeholders and Local Government Unit and the possible partners;
- Provide technical inputs related to activities and installation/infrastructure works carried out by the project.
- Network and link up with possible agencies, organization and stakeholders for project implementation.
- Prepare weekly progress report for WaSH Project Manager and monthly report to the Division Manager and the Country Director;
- Ensure proper fund utilization and tracking of the project based on the projected budgetary plan.
- Assist Health and WaSH Staff-in-Charge in monitoring the WaSH Project
- Carry any other duties or other related deliverables as may be directed by the WaSH Project Manager, Health and WaSH Staff in-charge, Division Manager and/or the Country Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development, Nursing or related Social Science
- With substantial construction experience in water facility projects, or structural engineering (design, planning, implementation & budgeting)
- At least 2 years relevant experience in Health and WaSH Project;
- Experience working with an international NGO is an advantage;
- Has a strong desire to help others;
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional education and an developing social work knowledge and skills;
- Has knowledge on program planning and budgeting.
