Sponsorship Service Assistant will be responsible in the development implement and monitor GNIP Sponsorship plans in collaboration with the Field Sponsorship Staff ensuring the achievement of programs goals and alignment with organizational strategic directions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor GNIP Sponsorship plans in collaboration with the Field Sponsorship Staff ensuring the achievement of programs goals and alignment with organizational strategic directions.
- Coordinate, monitor and ensures timely implementation of activities in the community development projects handled.
- Ensure quality and timely submission of sponsorship deliverables following the guidelines set by headquarters; correspondences, sponsor gifts, progress reports, cards, letters, new child finding etc.
- Conduct comprehensive content review of child’s data in child management system to ensure its accuracy to minimize errors and prevent returns.
- Provide technical assistance in formulating effective and efficient program plan in executing sponsorship activities.
- Create monitoring tools for CDP CMS Staff submission of sponsorship deliverables
- Conduct area visit, if necessary to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Conduct trainings to Staff and/or community volunteer regarding sponsorship activities
- Participate in any relevant fora including seminars, workshops, and meetings related to all programs and services of sponsorship
- Conduct validation to ensure direct services were received by sponsored children/family
- Identify areas of improvements and concerns and accordingly develop action plans.
- Initiate the planning and finalizing of alternative plans and guidelines considering the current situation of the CDP area to ensure the smooth implementation of the activities.
- Sustain close coordination and open communication with Field Manager and Field Staff on the report submission status and enforce best practices to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor fund utilization of every activity and ensure that funds are properly utilized based on plan of actions (POA).
- Check and approve field staff procurement request, fund request and settlement reports.
- Lead the planning, workshop, and monitoring of assigned mandatory activities by SSD manager
- Facilitate and assist in the referral of special cases, if needed.
Other Functions:
- Carry any other duties as may be directed by the SSD Manager
- Participate in all company activities such as but not limited to seminars, training, outing, etc.
- Adhere to the Rules & Regulation set by the company and always ensures confidentiality of all transaction/s and/or information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Community Development, or Social Sciences.
- At least 3years of work experience in the same field; work experience in an International NGO (INGO) is a plus.
- Demonstrate ability to set and achieve objectives and deadlines
- Know advance MS office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings.
- Patient in accommodating the behavior of a wide range of people.
- Highly organized, with good attention to detail and develop an ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledgeable of the services available in the community.
- Licensed Social Worker is an advantage and will be prioritized.
