The Project Driver will ensure the safety and security of staff passengers as well as items in transport among other tasks.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety and security of staff passenger/s and/or items in transport to and from specified destinations in a timely manner.
- Assist in the conduct if GNIP activities/program or delivery of all materials, supplies, and equipment as necessary.
- Assist staff on canvassing and/or purchasing of supplies and materials
- Carry out routine inspection on the car to ensure that it is always in good condition.
- Monitor and facilitate vehicle registration
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
- Schedule PMS (Preventive Maintenance Schedule)
- Assist in conduct of operations and administrative functions within the Head Office
- Preparation of Fund Request and Settlement Report for payments processing of different vehicle related expenses, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any bachelor’s degree course (business courses preferred)
- At least 2years experience as company driver, preference will be given to those with experience working in an international/local non-government organization
- Good communication skills, a good command in the English language is an advantage
- Holder of a valid driver’s license (professional), with clean driving record from LTO
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations. and working knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Experience and familiarity to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
