The Education and Child Protection Assistant will focus on providing technical and administrative support for education and child protection programs, assisting in project strategy development, monitoring implementation, preparing reports, coordinating with government agencies, and participating in institutional activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative support in the conduct and management of education and child protection programs and activities.
- Assist in developing project concepts, strategies, plans, and directions related to education and child protection.
- Monitor the implementation of project activities pertaining to the administration and development of project activities of the education and child protection component.
- Prepare reports/documentation reports/project reports and revise the same as may be required observing deadlines;
- Assist in preparing work schedules, deadlines, and goals;
- Coordinate with relevant government agencies in implementing programs/projects;
- Attend Good Neighbors Philippines institutional activities (i.e., weekly devotion) as may be required;
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be a college graduate, preferably in the fields of Development Studies, Community Development, or Education.
- Proven experience in project management cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of people – students, parents, volunteers, donors, government officials, teachers, etc.
- Previous work in an NGO or corporate social responsibility foundations, especially in education and scholarship programs, an advantage.
