One of the significant contributions of GNIP in improving the health condition of the people in its target communities is the construction of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) facilities. This year, two WaSH facilities were turned-over to its two partner-schools, Candiis and Hinagtungan Elementary School in Laak, Compostela Valley Field Office. These facilities will address the issues on lack of access to water, and proper hygiene and health care education. These facilities will in long term encourage WaSH positive behavioral change in the school and community through GNIP and DepEd joint conduct of program promotions, education and awareness raising to children and students. Through cooperation and sharing resources with partner networks we will be able to promote proper sanitation and hygiene to the children.
