Good Neighbors extended support to our 34 partner schools in Guiuan Community Development Project, Eastern Samar to address the insufficient resources for the Modular Distance Learning Modalities for the education of the 5,290 Filipino children and youth learners in the community.
A total of 30 Elementary Schools and 4 Secondary Schools in the CDP were given equipment and supplies consisting of 4 units of printers, 600 reams of A4 bond papers, and 412 bottles of printer inks were received by Guiuan National High School, Tubabao National High School, Taytay Integrated School, and Sulangan National High School. While for 30 public elementary schools, 30 units of printers, 642 reams of A4 bond papers, and 840 bottles of inks were divided and distributed to the schools last February 26 and March 1, 2021.
The School Principals and School Teachers of Guiuan East District, North District, and South District were present in receiving the supplies in support to their existing Modular Learning Modalities from GNIP represented by Education staff and Field Manager of Guiuan CDP.
