MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Good Neighbors International Philippines (GNIP) will hold their Scholarship Program Launch: “A Hundred Dreams to Reach” on December 29, 2021, 8:00 am, via Zoom, which will be streamed live on their Facebook page.
This launching is a gathering of the new youth scholars of the organization. The youth scholars are composed of 100 junior and senior high school students from the ten project areas of GNIP in the Philippines.
The Scholarship Program of GNIP is a new venture of the organization to address the educational needs of talented students who have the potential to become future leaders but cannot continue their education because of their economic situation.
This launch is entitled “A Hundred Dreams to Reach” because we believe that together we can help these young people reach their dreams for themselves, their families, and for society.
The activity will also provide a set of talks from inspirational speakers that will enliven the spirit of hope of the youth to move forward despite the challenges they are facing in this time of the pandemic.
“We believe that they will become future leaders and they will become Good Neighbors, so they can help the others and the next turn,” Mr. Jae Choon Lee, Country Director of Good Neighbors International Philippines said.
The OIC Executive Director of the Council for the Welfare of Children, Ms. Gemma Gabuya will provide the greeting message during the launch. Sgt. Lloyd A. Luna, PAF (Res) will be the main speaker of the day to inspire the youth to become good seeds for the future.
Celebrity guests, Robi Domingo will be hosting the event, and Darren Espanto will also have a special performance to congratulate the new scholars.
