15 June 2022 (Antipolo, Rizal) – Good Neighbors Philippines (GNP), an organization that seeks to improve the lives of Filipino children through child sponsorship and community development programs, will gather more than 50 community leaders of its partner savings and credit groups, income-generating groups, and cooperatives from all across the country at its first Social Economy Partners’ Summit.
With the theme “Stirring the Local Economy, Strengthening Entrepreneurial Competencies,” GNP aims to support its local partner groups to address the impacts of the pandemic by promoting their products and services, gathering best practices, and key strategies and providing further capacitation.
GNP also invited experts across various fields such as government, academe, and more established cooperatives to aid the participants in honing their knowledge and skills.
This program is done so that the local economy in GNP’s community development programs thrive despite the challenges of the pandemic, ensuring the growth of their families and children.
The Social Economy Partner’s Summit will be held at the First Pacific Leadership Academy in Antipolo, Rizal from June 15 to 18, 2022.
