26 January – Good Neighbors International Philippines and Generika Drugstore officially sealed a partnership for the delivery of health care services for the children in the organization’s communities held in Good Neighbors Philippines Head Office in Cubao, Quezon City. 

In 2022, the collaboration with Generika started in different activations of the organization in the communities and national level. One of these is their support and sponsorship of our WAVE TALK 2022 event held on October 29, 2022, in Seda Vertis North Hotel. 

It then sparks a partnership through the Annual Medical Check-up where we procure vitamins with them for the children. Thus, part of the objectives of this partnership is to support our Annual Medical Check-up for all our community development project areas in Hagonoy, Bulacan; Tingloy, Batangas; San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal; Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon; Gigmoto, Catanduanes; Guiuan, Eastern Samar; Laak, Davao de Oro; and Sitio Bakal, Bagong Silangan, Quezon City. 

The Generika Drugstore also expressed their appreciation and gratitude for this partnership as the purpose corresponds to what both, Good Neighbors Philippines and Generika wanted to achieve and hope for the children.

“Our purpose is to provide access to quality, affordable healthcare. So that’s a very strong [will and belief] of Generika drugstore. In that regard, we’re kind of aligned on that one and apart from, of course, making a profit because, after all, this is a business, what we are really hoping to build upon is really social equity and capital of Generika. So, partners like Good Neighbors enable us to carry that one out,” Ms. Vivian Santamaria, Chief Finance Officer.
